Dr Kumar has been placing dental implants since 2004. In 2009 he trained under Dr Paulo Malo in Lisbon following which he has been performing All on 4 / Teeth in a Day implant surgeries and All on 4 bridge restorations both in England and in Singapore.
Dr Samintharaj Kumar graduated in Dentistry from Singapore in 2001. During his undergraduate period, he was the 1st South-East Asian recipient for the David B. Scott Research Fellowship Award (International Association for Dental Research). He spent the final year elective of his Medical degree in the Craniofacial Unit at The Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto, Canada. During medical school, he won a number of prizes for academic merit including the Drummond and Frank Scott Prize for overall performance in preclinical medicine, received awards from the British Association of Plastic Surgeons, British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, The Royal College of Physicians and The Wellcome Trust.
Dr Kumar’s postgraduate training in England includes rotations in: Anaesthetics/Intensive Care, Infectious Diseases, ENT, Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Accident & Emergency, Maxillofacial Surgery including Plastic Surgery in Singapore. He has also extensive specialist exposure to the field of Non-Surgical Aesthetic Rejuvenation. His training has been acquired through courses with specialists in the non-surgical industry and has successfully performed such treatments since 2004.
Dr Kumar provides the full clinical spectrum of Dental Implantology, Cosmetic Dentistry and Oral Rehabilitation. He has worked with various Dental Implant systems since 2004 including Nobel Biocare, Dentium, Osstem, Straumann and BioHorizons. He sees patients requiring complex dental rehabilitation or full mouth reconstruction. He accepts referrals for implant placement, sinus lift surgery, complex bone augmentation and zygomatic dental implants which he also performs under intravenous sedation at Nuffield Dental Clinics.
Dr Kumar previously lectured on the International Qualifying Examination Course at the Eastman and has taught on the Dentist on the Ward courses in Lincoln and Birmingham. He has published papers in internationally peer reviewed journals. Additionally, he was also a member of the teaching faculty of the Millimetre Perfect Aesthetic Training courses for Botox and Fillers. He was an internal examiner for the Overseas Registration Examination (ORE) and previously a mentor for the Society of the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD). Postgraduate Examinations that he passed through examination include the MFDS RCS, Royal College of Surgeons in England, MFD RCSI, Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, MRCS Royal College of Surgeons of England and the MBA, Sir John Cass Business School, London
His specialist interests include seeing nervous patients, Same Day Dental Implants, Dental Implants, Denture Stabilisation, Zygomatic implants, Teeth in a Day, Gum Plastic Surgery, Pinhole Periodontal Surgery, Laser Surgery, Botulinum Toxin, Dermal Fillers for Anti-Wrinkle Treatment, Skin Boosters, Sculptra and Chemical peels for rejuvenation of the face, Anti-Snoring and Sleep Dentistry treatment. In addition, he sees patients privately for wisdom teeth and difficult extractions. Due to his experience and previous training, Dr Kumar is particularly able to understand dental patients with complex medical conditions and able to advise specifically on their management within the dental environment.

Dr Teh graduated in the year 2002 from the National University of Singapore. A Dean's list recipient, she is extremely passionate about dentistry and continues to upgrade and update her skills and knowledge by attending local and overseas conferences, training courses and seminars. With over 15 years of clinical experience, Dr Teh prides herself on giving her patients (many of whom have become good friends) patient-centric, bespoke and holistic dental care.
Dr Teh is particularly passionate about restorative dentistry and has attended many hands-on training courses in Singapore, New York, Hong Kong and Vietnam. A wonderful family dentist, she is particularly proficient at endodontics (root canal therapy) and aesthetic smile make-overs using porcelain laminate or composite veneers. Dr Teh is great with children and puts even the most apprehensive child (or adult) at ease with her warm cheerful disposition and sense of humour. When not doing dentistry, Dr Teh spends her free time with her 2 lovely dogs, Coco, a French Bulldog and Prada, a Singapore Special. She is deeply passionate about environmental issues, animal welfare and rescue. She has helped to rescue and re-home many homeless, injured or abandoned dogs, cats and birds.
Dr. Surinder Arora graduated from the University of Sheffield in the UK. She has since passed the MFDS examination with the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. She has worked in multiple UK hospitals under oral surgery and restorative dentistry faculties as well as in general practice across the UK and Singapore. Her caring and warm demeanour make her popular with patients. Surinderis Vice President of the Singapore Dental Association's Oral Health Awareness Committee and is a firm believer in preventative dentistry. She volunteers her time on the Singapore Dental Ethics committee as well as to projects both overseas and in Singapore. With keen interests in oral surgery, dental implants and general dentistry she always puts patients at the centre of her care. She is an approachable and friendly individual making patients feel comfortable in the dental setting. In addition, Surinder is a certified Health Coach and takes an integrative approach to dentistry. On request, she is available for dental and diet consultations.
Out of the surgery, Surinder enjoys writing for various publishers, reading, boxing, healthy eating, travelling, and yoga.
