At each preventative care appointment you will receive an in-depth cleaning and an oral examination. Cleaning involves flossing, polishing and the removal of plaque and tartar in order to prevent cavities, gingivitis and gum disease. Your oral examination also includes cancer screening and periodontal therapy. X-rays may also be taken if needed. You can rest assured that your examination will be perform by a skilled dentist.
